More About Us

School Group

All aspects of our business are on display. We are always happy to talk to people about beekeeping and the health benefits (as well as great taste) of our products. We especially enjoy the groups of young children who have a great time holding drone bees.

At Worker Bee Honey we strive to be at the forefront of beekeeping - developing new techniques and methods of working with bees, as well as new and innovative ways of using the products made by the bees. We produce specialty honey from blueberry, raspberry, blackberry and other flowers that has been shipped as far as Japan and Europe. We try to educate the public so that they can learn about the benefits of bee products. Recently, we started making our own line of body care products that incorporate the natural wholesomeness of bees. Pollen is exceptionally rich in natural amino acids, proteins and enzymes and has been used to enrich our creams and hand salves. Propolis is used by the bees as a natural antibiotic and is an excellent additive to our soaps made with beeswax and honey.

We cater to many school groups throughout the year from kindergarten up, as well as other community groups. Many other people just drop by, some just for some honey, others are amateur beekeepers looking for some tips. Our informative tours explaining the biology of bees and how bees produce honey. pollen and propolis. People learn how bees are an essential part of the foods they eat, from apples to melons, and that many fruits and vegetables would not exist without bees. Of course, no tour would be complete without tasting some honey. We have a selection of the different kinds of honey produced by our bees as well as our innovative fruit and honey mixtures.
